THREE events on Pre-Conference Day:
1. Emergency Vehicle Operator Instructor Course 0800-1700 at MassMutual center. Sponsored By VFIS
Fee: for employees of agencies insured by VFIS: FREE + $25 for coffee breaks/lunch
For non-VFIS customers, $50 + $25 coffee breaks/lunch. This class includes 4 hours of classroom instruction and 4 hours of driving experience on a closed course. All instructor materials are included with the program. Limited to 20 attendees. Pre-registration required. 4 hours of EMS credit available
2. Handtevy Pediatric Instructor Course: 0800-1700 At MassMutual Center. Presented by Peter Antevy, MD (who is also a featured speaker on Day 1 of our conference!) Read the full description of this interactive pediatric pre-hospital instructor course that is based on ACLS principles and register at Handtevy Instructor Class Please note that the fee assessed is for the Handtevy Instructor course only and does not include admission to the conference. Lunch on your own. CAPCE-approved for 8 hours
3. Interactive M&M Rounds with Medical Directors: 1400-1700 Free and open to all levels (pre-registration required) Review several interactive cases, including pediatrics, with Region 1 Medical Directors and the STCC MobileSim Unit in this 3 hour program. This M&M will satisfy the 'Face-To-Face' requirement for all providers in Region 1, and provides 3 hours of Local or Individual continuing ed credit. EMTs from all other Regions are very welcome to attend, please pre-register.
